Position Summary:

Responsible for managing assigned area(s) of focus in the loan servicing cycle and performing performance reviews, audits, customer administration, and call monitoring, related to the residential mortgage loan portfolio.

This position ensures the performance of all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S.

state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.


  • Handles day to day communication with all servicing and internal business partners, regarding performance across the portfolio, insuring prompt responses and tracking to resolution, which may include remediation activities and root cause analysis.
  • Administers servicing testing process, including all investor/agency reviews associated with the Monthly Performance Assessment.
  • Prepares reports to share with servicing partners to review performance trends regarding delinquency, current issues and opportunities for servicing improvement and escalated matters.
  • Assists with preparation of Monthly Performance Assessment for management.
  • Participates in customer and client monitoring programs to identify customer needs and expectations.
  • Improves customer service quality and aims to keep it at a consistently high level.
  • Performs call and transaction monitoring as well as quality reviews and tracks, monitors, and analyzes workflows, patterns, and service levels.
  • Performs other duties and projects as assigned


  • Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position.
  • Demonstrates a general working knowledge of all aspects of loan administration and loan servicing.
  • Demonstrates good working knowledge of investor guidelines and servicing practices.
  • Demonstrates knowledge in cash processing, including but not limited to payment and corporate advances.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Familiar with audit and oversight protocol.
  • Good research skills to ensure proper interpretation and understanding of statutes and guidelines.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of processes in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work schedules on a short-term and long-term basis.
  • Ability to work with little to no supervision while performing duties.
  • Experience working in MSP preferred.
  • High School Degree or equivalent required and a minimum of three (3) + years’ experience mortgage or loan servicing experience.
