Paralegal



The Chubb Group of Insurance Companies is currently seeking a Financial Lines and Employment Practices Paralegal to join its House Counsel team in Houston, Texas.  Competencies/Tech Skills: Experience in employment law practices agency litigation process is required with insurance defense environment preferable.  Excellent customer service demeanor as well as a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word is essential. Experience in filing and service procedures in agency matters and litigation in state court and federal court is necessary.  Organizational and production skills for federal court discovery in employment matters strongly preferred. The ability to navigate and effectively manage a case management system is required. Strong analytical skills as well as clear written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Strong time management and organizational skills with an ability to work in a high-volume office and team environment are essential. The candidate should be a highly self-motivated individual, possess high initiative and have the ability to work independently. The ability to perform legal research is preferred. Experience in ProLaw case management software or similar case management software would be helpful.
