It all begins with you.Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure; provides information security; and enables Wells Fargo global customers to have 24 hours a day, 7 days a week banking access through in-branch, online, ATMs, and other channels.Lending Transformation is a strategic project for Wells Fargo to consolidate loan accounting systems across the enterprise so that significant expense and risk reductions can be realized.

The vision is for multiple loan systems to be retired while consolidating servicing on a few strategic applications.

Finastra LIQ has been selected as the go forward platform for syndicated and commercial loans.

Currently the AFS to LIQ migration is in the ramp up phase and an aggressive schedule for completion by 2024 is being mapped out.

The successful delivery of this migration would culminate in the migration of 110,000+ customers, 250,000+ loans and over $294 billion in outstandings from AFS to LIQ.

Longer term there are multiple loan accounting systems that will be migrating to the LIQ platform, the AFS conversion represents the first in a line of conversions.Wholesale Commercial Lending is looking for a senior technology engineer to provide leadership for the conversion work stream within the Lending Transformation program, specifically the AFS to LIQ conversion.

Candidate should have experience with large scale conversions, a working knowledge of Finastra tools (specifically DCT) and API’s as well as a working knowledge of the LIQ data model.

LIQ is currently embarking on agile transformation and candidate should be well versed in the Agile methodology in order to support this transition while keeping the conversion work stream on target for hitting conversion dates.

Conversion team consists of resources in major markets however Dallas and NY represent the most central location for resources.Role will be responsible to lead day to day activities in the conversion work stream.

This stream will be the central work stream for the Transformation project and will coordinate with all other work streams.

Interfaces, Reporting, infrastructure and additional work streams will all have to work in unison to complete multiple large scale conversion events over the next 2-3 years.

Resource will coordinate with Finastra/Contract vendor resources/Wells Fargo resources to ensure the DCT product is coordinated and set up in the Wells environments and is updated and ready for use to support conversion ranging from 10,000-40,000 loans at a time.

Resource will also be responsible to coordinate with the conversion CBOA team to ensure data translation tables are ready for conversions.

Conversion balancing between technical teams will also be a key project activity as will ensuring all balancing activity between AFS and LIQ has been completed and all outages accounted for.Resource will also be responsible to manage the overall work effort among conversion teams crossing timezones.

Currently the conversion team consists of resources from the Wells CBOA and LIQ teams as well as multiple tech partner and business partner teams.

Resource must be able to create resource and staffing plans for the day to day work as well as for specialty events such as Dress Rehearsals and live events.
