Job Purpose
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Receiving Lead is r esponsible for m anag ing incoming deliveries by verifying and signing for shipments, unloading and storing received items and processing returns . The Lead will work closely with both Warehouse and Production Teams to pull work orders and maintain daily records for orders .
Job Responsibilities
- Use of Fork truck and other Material Handling equipment
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Scan and move materials physically and systematically
- Verify number of pieces versus BOL or packing slip
- Use Purchase orders listed on shipment to receive into inventory properly
- Completing and following up on proper paperwork for incoming orders
- Generate appropriate receiving documents and ensure purchasing dept has copies
- Other Warehouse Operations as assigned by supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical competency, minimum in a business/industrial related field.
- 5+ years sourcing/procurement related experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle changing priorities and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience interacting with cross functional team including manufacturing, engineering, quality, materials, logistics, sales & marketing.
- Demonstrated planner/buyer management skills.
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel
- Strong mathematical ability
- Possess very strong analytical skills
- Experience in manufacturing and material buying activities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong presentation skills
- Demonstrated problem resolution and crisis management
- Proactive and Self-motivated with business perspective and a sense of urgency

- SAP/MRP systems experience
