Regional Business Coordinator

Digital Realty

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted March 1, 2021.

Opportunity Snapshot

Digital Realty is seeking to add a Regional Business Coordinator to our US Regional Sales Team responsible for supporting deals inbound into the region. The Regional Business Coordinator will work closely with Account Managers and liaise with extended team members (Sales Engineers, Commercial Management, Product Management, Operations, etc.) to help drive opportunities and customer projects to closure.


The Role

  • Serve as single point of contact for and work with out-of-region Account Owners to coordinate activities around inbound opportunities 
  • Serve as interface between Account Owner and local operations to set up and manage customer responses and tours of data centers
  • Act as customer point of contact locally for non-operational issues as they arise
  • Coordinate regional responses to RFPs from out-of-region opportunities
  • Maintain opportunity details, updates and status in SDFC as the opportunity owner. Liaise with the account owner to ensure accurate opportunity forecasting
  • Produce and revise quotes from applicable CPQ Tools
  • Where delegated by the Account Owner, directly engage with customers for reactive transactional sales 
  • Produce ad hoc reporting from Clari and SFDC



  • 3-5 years of related work experience preferably in the data center, telecommunications, IT, or technology industries (mid-level position)
  • Ability to analyze multiple requests for support and prioritize appropriately
  • Ability to operate in a fast moving, team-oriented, collaborative environment with strict deadlines
  • Ability to self-start, self-motivate, self-sustain, self-improve and work independently  
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (on different levels)  
  • Customer/business focus – Ability and eagerness to develop understanding of the customer business and IT strategy and infrastructure
  • Natural focus on customer satisfaction
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Familiarity working with and navigating a CRM tool; experience a plus
  • Proven ability to work well as part of an extended sales team
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Degree required; University Degree in IT, Engineering or business
