Revenue Strategy Analyst / Senior Analyst

This is a Full-time position in Trophy Club, TX posted September 7, 2021.

Job Summary: The Revenue Strategy Analyst will support the overall objectives of the Commercial organization by using different analytical techniques to identify areas of opportunity and drive strategic revenue initiatives.

Using quantitative tools, the Revenue Strategy Analyst will develop methodologies to measure revenue and competitive performance, and will present recommendations to multiple stakeholders within the Greyhound Commercial organization.

Also, the Revenue Strategy Analyst will be a key resource in the management of fares and forecasts within Greyhound’s revenue management system for the Revenue Development group.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key areas of Greyhound’s revenue management system.

Leverages system expertise to identify areas of opportunity or concern, assist other analysts in identifying systems oriented solutions for market issues, run analysis on performance, and design / recommend future system improvements * Supports the continued optimization of Greyhound’s revenue management system by creating reports to increase the visibility of pricing decisions and resulting revenue outcomes, and by developing tests to measure the impact of potential pricing strategy changes * Leads analyses and presents findings on multiple aspects of Greyhound revenue, including pricing, passenger mix, route performance and competitive environment* Evaluates the competitive pricing environment, identifies trends and recommends changes that are aligned with Greyhound’s overall strategy * Targets attractive areas of revenue opportunity, and drives initiatives to realize the commercial benefits from these opportunities* Works closely with Revenue Development and Scheduling & Capacity Planning in various efforts to grow revenue and improve Greyhound’s competitive position * Performs ad hoc analysis as directed by Manager to support Senior Management REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree required.

Business, Economics or Engineering degrees preferred.

Master’s Degree desirable.* 2+ years of business, financial analysis, consulting or marketing experience preferred* Transportation revenue management experience is a plus* Possesses strong analytical and oral/written communication skills* Must be self-starter with the ability to manage projects with minimal direct supervision* Excellent time management skills and ability to work over and above normal business hours as needed* Has advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Word).

Familiarity with SQL, SAS, R, Tableau or similar data manipulation and visualization tools preferred
