Description Up to $5,000 Sign On Bonus Telemetry is a 36- bed unit that consists of all private rooms. The unit provides continuous cardiac monitoring and continuous pulse oximetry for all patients. Patients admitted to Telemetry have a cardiac medical – surgical diagnosis including those that are requiring cardiac catherization for intervention and/or diagnostic tests. The unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment rich with opportunity for learning and growing. We use a multidisciplinary approach to patient care that encourages the team to work with physicians, nursing staff, rehab, respiratory team, dietary and other ancillary team to provide the most comprehensive care for our patients. Come join our Westover Hills family and experience the Westover WOW Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) assesses, implements or delegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy, providing and directing patient care for a group of patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) relates effectively with other shifts/departments for optimal continuity of care. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical supervision for entry level nurses and assists in their development. Requirements: Registered Nurse (RN) with valid Texas license. BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly desired/recommended. Current specialty certification as required. Must have working knowledge of the nursing process as well as in depth knowledge of therapeutic, physical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and developmental needs for a select category of patients.
