Producer, Digital Media District Office Primary Function: The Producer, Digital Media is responsible for conceptualizing, filming, editing and producing original video and photo assets promoting the College and its programs for use across social media, web, advertising, and email marketing.

The Producer, Digital Media will facilitate the entire video making process from ideation through to final execution.

The position assists with producing and providing content for the College’s chat bot and mobile app, while ensuring brand consistency across all platforms.Essential Job Functions:Conceptualize, film, edit, and produce a variety of video and graphic assets to be used in social media, on the College website, in marketing advertising efforts, and among other platforms.Contribute to the development of the College’s website chat bot in conjunction with IT, including serving on project committees as needed.Oversee development and monitoring of the College’s mobile app.Create monthly metrics reports for video engagement.Conduct market research as needed to develop understanding of target market(s) to aid in department’s digital marketing, social media, and advertising efforts.Other projects as assigned.Marginal Job Functions:Manage the Digital Intern, when applicableParticipate as a representative for marketing on College-wide committees and tasks forces as neededAttend events and meetings to streamline communication between marketing and campuses/departments to gather and disseminate news as needed Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Extensive demonstrated knowledge of camera equipment, filming techniques, video production, and video editing software.Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with social media platforms, best practices, industry trends, and developments.Demonstrated experience producing video and graphics (static and motion) content for website and social media platforms.Must have good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, social media moderation software, and video editing and animation software.Demonstrated ability to operate photo, video, and lighting equipment.Must demonstrate creativity, engagement, and the ability to work within a team.Demonstrated ability to manage time successfully and to meet stringent deadlines.Demonstrated ability to network and communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.Must possess strong organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Must be flexible and able to adapt to a work schedule that can change, including evening and weekend hours.Required Education:Associate degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related fieldPreferred Education:Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related fieldRequired Experience:Four years of video production experience; Two years of experiencewith graphic design or animationPreferred Experience:Additional photography experience; marketing copywriting experience a plusPreferred Licenses/Certifications:Google Analytics, Google Ad CertificationAdditional Information:Remote Work Opportunities:This position has opportunity for remote work arrangements with appropriate approvals and in accordance with the policies, procedures, and needs of the College.

Salary Grade: 23Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
