We are currently seeking Saw Operators at our San Antonio, TX location

How You Will Spend Your Days as a Saw Operator:

Entry level position in our Engineered Wood Product (EWP) Department. This department is responsible for the production, packaging and shipping of floor systems. It includes the operation of a computerized saw, inventory control and safety.

  • Ability to work with office and yard personnel to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient shipping of material.
  • Learn the receiving and storage process of EWP materials.
  • Learn how to maintain the saw for optimal performance.
  • Learn process for maintaining inventory.
  • Learn how to document and take pictures of all floor systems produced.
  • Ensure that all floor systems are complete for shipping to customer.
  • Learn and maintain the standards for which all EWP personnel should follow.
  • Ability to learn all safety procedures and practices in order to prevent injuries or damage.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by your supervisor and be flexible and adaptable to changes that will occur during the course of employment.

We want you to join the team if you can check these boxes:

  • Operate a forklift in a safe manner. Complete equipment inspections daily.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds and on occasion up to 80 pounds.
  • May be required to perform specific tasks that involve climbing, lifting, pushing or kneeling.
  • Work is performed primarily in an outdoor yard environment, subject to variations in temperature and weather, equipment noise and dust.
  • Strong verbal, written, mathematical and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail oriented is a plus.
  • Computer skills helpful.
