The Senior Competitive Intelligence Analyst can be located anywhere in the continental United States.Responsibilities:Analyze and synthesize qualitative and quantitative information, identifying implications and observing patterns, making correct inferences, drawing conclusions, explaining facts, data, or information to evaluate competitors’ products/services, strategic direction, and core competencies utilizing a wide variety of resourcesProvide competitive intelligence on LMR (e.g., P25, TETRA, and DMR) and related technologies, products, and servicesIdentify Motorola Solutions’ and our competitors’ traditional and non-traditional strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for new market growthCreate competitive insights into easy-to-understand documentsProvide actionable information that will help sales and product teams differentiate our value to customersSupport sales with specific projects and opportunities, such as providing bid pricing and competitive positioning recommendationsCollaborative approach to teaming across international boundaries and navigating cross-cultural differencesQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree is required.

Emphasis in Engineering, Business, Analytics, Marketing, Communications or Information Systems is preferred2+ years of experience in Engineering, Product Management, Marketing or CommunicationsStrong knowledge of mission-critical communication technologies and trends, including both traditional LMR and broadbandDeep understanding of government or public safety marketplace, challenges, and purchasing criteriaAbility to learn new technologies and markets quicklyPrior experience in the telecommunications industryTeam player who works well cross-functionally with others at all levels of the organizationStrong verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influenceExcellent project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams independentlyStrong relationship management skills, including partnering and consultingExperience in a fast-paced team environment and comfortable in ambiguous and rapidly evolving situationsAble to structure complex problems in simple, easy-to-understand waysBasic RequirementsBachelors Degree4+ years of experience in one of the following: Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, Sales, or CommunicationsKey understandings of Motorola Solutions product portfolios
