Senior Cybersecurity Engineer – Data Protection – Operations – DLP, DAM

POSITION PURPOSEThis position offers an exciting opportunity as a Systems Engineer – Senior within the Data Protection Operations team.  The initiative is a critical success factor to adapt to a rapidly changing technology environment and deliver the key program deliverables for space.  You will need self-starting abilities to conduct risk analysis, configuration changes, and policy tuning.  You will be a key contributor to the optimization of advanced Data Protection security controls across a large enterprise. To succeed you will need the ability to work with various cross-functional teams both within and outside of Cyber-Security.  You will also drive the continual improvement of the resiliency and function of current DAM capabilities.  A strong work ethic is required to deliver meaningful value in this role.  A strong partnership with the business will be key to delivering value and reducing data loss and risk to the organization.vOn a typical day, you can expect to provide level 3 support to the incident management team, provide investigation support to the SOC, drive the improvement of DAM process and procedures through automation, discover sensitive data, conduct analysis of data protection findings, provide remediation support, be a team player, bring fresh ideas and more.Sr. Engineers who are able to analyze the data coming from the data protection/data loss prevention tools (Guardium, Imperva, Sonar G, endpoint DLP, network DLP) in order to detect malicious behavior and identify what could potentially be an and internal threat. I’m looking for skills in data analysis, root cause analysis, rule configuration/tuning, and overall understanding of internal threats related to relational and NoSQL databases, data exfiltration and data access monitoring/data loss prevention on-premises and in the cloud.The Sr. Systems Engineer develops, maintains, and supports The Home Depot’s technical infrastructure that includes network, hardware, database, and system software components. The Sr. Systems Engineer is responsible for collaborating with and enabling product teams with infrastructure. Sr. Systems Engineers are expected to leverage tooling and custom applications to monitor and optimize performance. In addition, Sr. Systems Engineers may be involved in routine upgrades and application support as well as root cause and post-mortem analyses around security incidents and service interruptions.
