Senior Development Paralegal

United Surgical Partners International, Inc

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted June 22, 2021.

The Senior Development Paralegal position will be responsible for working with corporate development counsel to manage due diligence, integration, records management and other tasks associated with various company transactions, including: working with counsel and various departments to ensure diligence responses are received and reviewed, managing closing task lists to ensure tasks are completed by applicable due date, and drafting of ancillary documents and schedules as needed.

This position will work with development counsel to ensure that transaction documents are appropriately transitioned to and stored in the contractual management database (eCATS system) and assist with other post-closing integration matters.

This position will also assist the department with other projects from time-to-time as requested by department managers.

The Senior Development Paralegal will report to development counsel.

Qualifications
– External
Paralegal Certification and high school diploma required.

Bachelor’s degree or law firm experience preferred.

2-5 years’ experience working as a development (M&A) or corporate paralegal preferred.

Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to multi-task, ability to manage task lists, and strong prioritization skills.

Must be highly organized and proficient in Adobe, Microsoft Word and Excel.

Health care operations and M&A/corporate experience preferred.
