QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s/university degree3-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent McKinsey consulting experience; expertise in supplier diversity is a plusExperience managing diverse stakeholders, building alignment and influencing others to move work and initiatives forward successfullySuperior organizational, planning and project management skills with demonstrated impactComfort developing effective communications in PowerPointStrong analytical skills including the ability to conduct analyses in Excel and draw relevant insightsExcellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain highly collaborative relationshipsStrategic, creative and flexible with demonstrated impact of implementing practical solutions in ambiguous environmentsAbility to work with limited guidanceStrong problem solving skillsSuperior communication skills, both verbal and writtenWHO YOU’LL WORK WITHYou will be part of McKinsey Optimize, the procurement function that delivers distinctive, positive and productive experiences through various services ranging from travel, events, real estate, sourcing, technology and purchasing.You will work closely with the manager of social responsibility, Optimize colleagues of all tenures and stakeholders across the firm.WHAT YOU’LL DOYou will independently own and lead major workstreams associated with the firm’s social responsibility priorities with respect to our supply chain.In this role, you will analyze data sets to draw strategic insights, creatively and strategically lead the development of solutions for ambiguous, complex problems, develop and lead end-to-end execution of actionable workplans and effectively syndicate plans with key stakeholders.

You will also act as a change catalyst to drive and implement change, influence others as you implement action plans and utilize metrics to measure initiative performance and identify improvement opportunities.Your early focus will be heavily on supporting the expansion of McKinsey’s supplier diversity program but you will touch on the broader range of social responsibility-related topics as well.

You will serve as a thought partner to stakeholders across McKinsey to problem solve on topics related to supplier diversity and social responsibility in the supply chain.
