About OutboundEngine’s Solutions Specialist Team:

As a Solutions Specialist at OutboundEngine your day will be dedicated to helping our customers grow their individual businesses how they want to.

OE’s Solutions Specialists spend most of their day interacting with customers in a cancellation stage, predominantly via phone.

You will have an impact on the businesses of our customers, the lives of your coworkers, and the bottom line of the company every day, in every interaction.

What you will do as a Solutions Specialist:
You will respond to customers’ requests to cancel their service with OutboundEngine You’ll offer customized solutions, identify sales opportunities and provide service for thousands of customers
– one at a time.

Excellent communication skills, professionalism and a desire to close the deal ensuring a happy and satisfied customer.

You’ll handle all things customer retention from billing and payments, plan changes and upgrades, and escalated situations and unsatisfied customers.

 While you offer solutions and resolve issues, you’ll work to transition each customer to a healthy, happy customer.

Meet daily and monthly goals.  Deliver personalized recommendations of our services based on a consultative approach to customers’ needs.

Drive NPS through exceptional interactions with OE’s customers Engage in and execute on upselling conversations that are in our clients’ best interest Answer inbound phone calls from customers regarding cancellation requests, troubleshooting, and technical support across various channels Respond to inbound customer emails Work efficiently across systems including but certainly not limited to SalesForce, Microsoft Office, G Suite, and Slack Meticulously document everything along the way Work with cross-functional departments to ensure the customer receives the best possible experience

What you should have to be successful as a Solution Specialist:
Passion for small business owners.

An outgoing personality excited to spend the majority of the day on the phone talking with customers Problem solving abilities by nature Prior collections and critical conversation management experience preferred Grit and resilience to be able to handle the most complex scenarios Must be comfortable speaking with customers who may have had difficult situations surrounding their business and be able to deescalate heightened conversations quickly An ability to get customers excited about our product A general understanding of and interest in learning more about retention, sales, customer experience, success, and engagement best practices The ability to deescalate difficult situations and come to a place of mutual understanding A self-starter, someone with a “figure it out” mentality Flexibility
– we are a startup and your responsibilities may change quickly and frequently Critical thinking and creative problem solving in a fast paced environment Previous service, support or success experience required Sales experience not required but preferred Communication skills, especially over the phone and through email Ambition and drive.
