System Administrator (SharePoint) – Secret Cleared with Security Clearance

Description ActioNet has an upcoming opportunity for a Systems Administrator
(SharePoint), requiring an active Secret Security Clearance located in Fort Hood, TX. ActioNet is an IT service provider and solutions integrator headquartered in Vienna, VA that works with the Federal Government and Department of Defense (DOD) . As the SharePoint Systems Administrator will be responsible for the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center’s (CRDAMC) Portal and Intranet, serving as the Content Manager and Site Collection Administrator; supporting the administration, management, design and implementation of SharePoint related business processes. Serve as the Subject Matter Expert and single point of contact for all issues associated with CRDAMC’s SharePoint Portal. Working in conjunction with CRDAMC leadership, CRDAMC Records Officer, HIPAA Officer, and IT counterparts to ensure that all data contained in SharePoint sites are in compliance with DOD policies. The SharePoint Administrator may be required on evenings, weekends, and holidays to provide guidance and support to customer support technicians for resolution of program/applications problems, and may be required to return to the work site to resolve critical problems. Typically, this occurs once per quarter. CompTIA Security+ Continuing Education (CE) required. Duties and Responsibilities * Plan and execute difficult and complex assignments; develop methods, approaches and procedures; provide advice and guidance on a wide-range of complex SharePoint issues; interpret SharePoint policies, standards, and guidelines; conduct analysis and recommend improvements to support long-range mission requirements.
* Maintain access control for SharePoint sites and sub-sites.
* Ensure that information collected and posted on the SharePoint Portal is consistent with official Command policies, regulations and positions, and that Protected Health Information (PHI)/ Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is handled according to HIPPA guidelines.
* Design and implement Content Management Workflows to automate business processes.
* Maintain and enhance the structure and content of parent site and sub-sites.
* Facilitate content sharing and collaboration across the organization.
* Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with customers, end users and other team members.
* Conduct one-on-one SharePoint training sessions as requested.
* Coordinate with team members and medical staff to ensure that information is relevant and up-to-date.
Basic Qualifications: * Extensive knowledge of Information Technology (IT) concepts, principles, methods, and practices and experience in SharePoint administration in planning, installing, configuring, optimizing, integrating and supporting Enterprise SharePoint systems utilizing Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2010 or higher version.
* Experience integrating Microsoft Office products with SharePoint to include PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio and OneNote.
* Skilled in planning and implementing SharePoint version upgrades migrations to include Operating System upgrades.
* Ability to perform duties and conduct research independently.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Manages time efficiently and multi-tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications: * Knowledge of SharePoint Portal and current web hosting and design capabilities and re-engineering existing web pages.
* Ability to design, create, and maintain SharePoint sites. Knowledge of applicable software such as .NET, Extensible Markup Language (XML), HTML.
* Extensive knowledge of security (permissions), configuration, technical support, development and expansion of the SharePoint sites, including portal development and technical coordination of liaison activities.
