The Tech Bus Services Sr.

Associate will lead and support technology continuity and resiliency initiatives across Wells Fargo Technology, on matters of significance regarding strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, driving solution planning to sizing / estimating to fulfillment of technology resiliency requirements.

Associate role will establish priorities and drive accountability for assigned initiatives, assisting to utilize industry experience to provide guidance on leveraging new and improved methods of monitoring, reporting, learning and technology architecture patterns & associated compliance requirements, and business performance improvement opportunities for the large business functions or functions that have significant complexity. 

The objective of this role is to improve overall awareness around technology continuity and resiliency.

Understands and ensures compliance and risk management requirements for supported area are met with respect to technology resiliency.

This role will interface / collaborate with Enterprise Business Resiliency, Enterprise Architecture, Risk & Control, Infrastructure and Application teams driving requirements, developing materials, building an action plan and execute, while reporting directly into Technology Continuity & Resiliency Strategy Leader.

Conduct research and analysis of competitive market environment for innovative business products and services, regulatory/compliance issues, and implications of new implementations.

Associate will also work with subject matter experts from data corruption, cyber resiliency, cloud enablement, data center, infrastructure, and continuity & disaster recovery testing strategies to define technology resiliency monitoring, reporting, learning and resilient architecture needs, product and application level assessments, and overall implementation approach.

The role will participate in long term strategic planning for initiatives and create roadmaps, execution plans, manage ongoing issues and risks.

The expectation from Tech Bus Services Sr.

Associate is to ensure assigned initiative is running effectively, deliverables are met, within budgetary parameter, address issues/concerns and timely communicate back to Leadership.

Maintains regular contact with senior management within Technology and the supported business unit.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of technology experience 2+ years of Agile experience 3 + years of technology project management experience 3 + years of experience leading and executing complex technology transformational programs across an enterprise 3+ years of experience applying independent operational risk management practices with Business Continuity Management or Disaster Recovery programs
Desired Qualifications
Experience managing multiple medium technology development efforts within a major line of business Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management 4+ years of finance experience Ability to develop roadmaps and plans that enable strategies Ability to manage or lead in a matrix environment Strong experience from a resiliency design perspective in one or more of the following areas: Technology & Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery, Cyber resiliency, Data Corruption, Cloud Resiliency, and Data Center resiliency procedures/solutions
Other Desired Qualifications Strong knowledge of and experienced with technology resilience and associated processes and controls Knowledge of Critical IT Services and associated infrastructure requirements, Product management and/or business services in context of Resiliency Champion Change, Cultural Mindset adaption towards technology resiliency Participate in various technology continuity & resiliency and disaster recovery activities, identify gaps in existing technology resiliency capabilities, conduct impact assessments, formulate strategic remediation approaches, seek agreement from impacted parties and execute Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment Experience applying risk based management and orchestrating uniform principles, standards, processes for technology resiliency as per the financial industry compliance frameworks Experience with Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) concepts
– and have a thorough understanding of FFEIC business continuity IT handbook Strong relationship building skills with both business and technology leadership Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and a good understanding of Agile approaches such as SP, Kanban, Crystal FDD, etc.

Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
