Key Deliverables Employee Satisfaction All team members to complete 52 hour training per year (4.33 per month). All team members to complete all mandatory training timely. Participate in Employee Performance Reviews and 1:1’s. Service Provider Management Ensure to work only with 100% approved Suppliers and vendors. Help build healthy cross-functional relationship and work environment, promote team spirit and cohesiveness in the department. Operations & Compliance Comply with company controls, policies, procedures, processes. Participate in team and department meeting. Effectively execute within the Transcon department, assisting our relentless pursuit of efficiency and operational excellence: Performance Management: Support oversight, including self-assessments and daily, weekly and monthly performance monitoring so that issues (root cause) are resolved proactively. Exception Management: Help key all exceptions to provide visibility internally (controlled) and through interacting with our customers (uncontrolled). Help identify areas to improve efficiency to offer customers better cycle times, service while improving margins. Actively participate in the optimization of systems and tools and continuously improve the efficiency, productivity and quality of the service. Make certain that client specific instructions are followed to properly process shipments and invoices. Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers and vendors. Properly use all Expeditor systems and tools. Log files correctly and timely with proper codes, trace types and events. Ensure that all correspondence within business unit is handled timely and professionally. Escalate issues to Lead and Supervisor when needed. Security, Health and Safety Responsible to inform immediately to the Branch’s Health and Safety representative any unsafe condition that could put employees at risk in the work place environment. Responsible to inform immediately to the Branch’s Health and Safety representative any incident or accident, regardless if the affected employee does not look hurt Finance Comply with the credit policy. Ensure accurate and timely billing of customers and vendors. Qualifications To be the most effective in this position we are looking for the following skills and experience: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Preferred – 6 months to 1 year of experience in the logistic field or domestic transportation. Customer Satisfaction oriented. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to communicate at all levels written and oral communication. Time management skills and attention to detail. Problem solving skills Organizational skills and ability to multitask. Ability to complete the activities within standard procedures, guidelines and office policies. Self-driven personality and good business sense are expected. Availability to work in the warehouse. Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel applications.
