We are seeking a talented Reporting Analyst Senior-Enterprise Compliance Reporting Analytics for either our San Antonio, TX, or Plano, TX facility. This person may also work remotely in a 100% Remote Work Environment. Partners with the business to define data/analytic needs and applies technical and business knowledge to recommend solutions that solve business problems and reporting needs. May prepare operational materials for senior management in support of major programs and functions. Independently, under minimal supervision, manages/performs multiple complex, and some unique, work assignments and problem resolution across systems, processes or channels. As a key contributor, critical to the achievement of team/organization goals, provides guidance to peers and less experienced team members in the development and delivery of their work product. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Leads or directs the design, development and implementation and provides oversight of the maintenance of complex and sometimes unique business solutions, which may include data, reporting, business intelligence or analytics. Utilizes a comprehensive understanding of multiple data structures and sources to Lead or direct complex and sometimes unique data manipulation using advanced data extraction and analytical tools and techniques. Responsible for ensuring operational reports are complete, provide accurate data, and in compliance with all internal and external reporting requirements. Coordinates inputs from multiple sources, synthesizes data / information and creates qualitative commentary capturing key messages. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or 4 additional years of related experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted in lieu of a degree (10 years of experience total in lieu of the degree). 6 years of experience in data analysis/extraction, statistics, data management, analytics and/or data reporting. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office tools to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of data reporting/analysis tools and techniques and ability to use SQL and/or Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs, and charts. Advanced troubleshooting skills. Comprehensive understanding of compliance, risk management, and data security frameworks. Experience in creating automated reports and interactive visualizations using tools such as Python and Tableau. Preferred Experience: Proficient ability to use SQL, SAS, Tableau, Python and data mining techniques. 3 or more years of experience in summarizing data insights into analysis presentations to various levels of leadership/stakeholders and executive members. Demonstrated ability to create complex reports and analysis. 3 or more years of experience in Compliance Risk Reporting. Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market position. The salary range for this position is: $88,200 $158,900. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance or at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors. Geographical Differential : Geographic pay differential is additional pay provided to eligible employees working in locations where market pay levels are above the national average. Shift premium will be addressed on an individual-basis for applicable roles that are consistently scheduled for non-core hours.
