VC-25B Mid-Level Industrial Engineering Methods Process Analyst


This is a Full-time position in Shavano Park, TX posted April 5, 2021.

The Boeing Global Services (BGS) organization is seeking a VC-25B Mid-Level Industrial Engineering Methods Process Analyst to join the team located in San Antonio, TX. This role will provide shipside support to support a range of activities from integration of work packages into in production, providing ship-side support to operations, conducting time studies, and implementing process improvements.Position Responsibilities:• Schedules work to support program schedule, analyzes headcount requirements, and provides performance to plan metrics.• Develops labor hour estimates for new or revised production and tooling work packages by utilizing labor standards production design drawing reviews, and Production Operations concurrence to support program business plans.• Participates in the development of integrated (e.g., crew cycling, learning curve, shift analysis, optimum/maximum crew size, tooling capacity) production master schedules by developing tool and position plan/documents, tool downtimes, rate flow.• Identifies and implements improvements to processes by analyzing current processes and utilizing established improvement methodologies to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to support company improvement initiatives.• Analyzes changes to approved plans resulting from unplanned events.• Assesses the impact of the changes that occur to cost, schedule, resources, and delivery.• Develops modifications to existing plans and obtains approval for plan changes.• Participates in negotiations representing Production and Tooling Operations to support schedule commitments or statement of work impacts.• Develops, implements, maintains, and statuses integrated shop operating plans to maximize the efficiency of equipment and personnel and to reduce inventory and meet cost and schedule commitments.• Develops and supports shop performance metrics by analyzing data in order to recommend plan of action for Production and Tooling Management.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. CitizenshipThis position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship onlyBasic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):• 3+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance or manufacturing• 5+ years years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment• 5+ years of work experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheetsPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):• Must possess experience in problem solving and improvement projects• Experience working with the following software and database technologies is preferred: the Aurora Client, Job Sequencing and Scheduling Toolkit – Capacity Management Application Database (JSSTK-CMAD), Electronic Bar Chart (EBC), E-Visuals, Priority Board, & Mantis• Experience in the aerospace manufacturing build process and design• Experience in Lean processes and implementation• Experience working in both a development and sustaining program environments• Experience in leading recovery planning activities that include identifying critical program enablers and performance to plan measures to ensure effectiveness• Excellent written and verbal communication skillsTypical Education/Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years’ related work experience, 10 years’ related work experience, etc.).This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.Referral to this job is eligible for bonusBonus amount: US dollars (USD) $1,500Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
