Veterans Preferred – Analyst, Enterprise Test


This is a Contract position in Frisco, TX posted September 2, 2021.

The Analyst position provides Test with employees who can work with some supervision to test company software applications. The position requires two years of experience in the development life cycle, testing as a primary area of knowledge, proficiency with Mercury Interactive testing tools and understanding of the wireless telecommunications industry. This person will be proficient in at least two business functions: process (ex. Billing) or technology (ex. Web Applications).Requirements

  • 4-7 years of experience in designing, developing and executing test strategies, test plans, and test cases required.
  • 4-7 years of experience in writing technical documentation required.
  • 2-4 years of experience in the identification, diagnosis, and resolution of issues required.
  • Less than 2 years of experience in understanding Testing techniques and standards required.
  • Experience and understanding of the following technologies: Maestro, TestDirector, LoadRunner, QuickTestPro, WinRunner required.

Develop and execute test cases.

  • Work with other teams to validate actual test results to expected results and user and functional requirements.
  • Document and resolve test issues.
  • Report status of assigned test tasks and issues.
  • Utilize test metrics as required.
  • Identify and document improvements to the test process.
  • Find opportunities to increase skill-set.
