Virtuoso: Senior Analyst, Analytics & Business Intelligence


This is a Full-time position in Fort Worth, TX posted July 3, 2021.

Whether in the pages of Virtuoso Life magazine, on Virtuoso.Com, in e-mail newsletters, or across social media, our goal is to inspire people to travel Virtuoso-style, with the help of a Virtuoso travel advisor and Virtuoso-preferred partners.Position Summary: Position is responsible for providing data analysis, data visualization, and partnership across the organization to provide insights.Primary Duties & Responsibilities include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.Provide advanced data analysis to inform business strategies and drive partner engagement.Combine data sources to discover insights, identify trends, and investigate anomalies.Develop data visualizations using BI tools that inform business users of performance, opportunities and room for improvement across our product offering.Support, deliver, and explain reporting across the business to inform users of how reports operate, what they are displaying, and what they mean.Work with complex projects and business requirements while making output user friendly and comprehensive.Create effective ETL processes that combine data from multiple sources.Perform ad-hoc analysis around all product types inside the Virtuoso network.Identify and implement improvements to reporting processes.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in any quantitative field (Business, Math, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience.2-4 years of related work experienceSkills, Abilities, ExperienceAdvanced data visualization tool knowledge (Domo, Tableau, Power BI, etc.)Advanced SQL skills (MS SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.)Proficiency in data analysis languages (Python, R, etc.)Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledgeEffective communication skillsForward thinking, curious, and creativeAble to lead people and projectsAware of current business trend knowledgeAble to collect and analyze complex information, problem solve, and make decisionsStrong skills in inspiring the win-win-winAbility to work independentlyTravel RequirementsInfrequent travel may be required to attend company events.
