DescriptionInterviews held Monday-Friday from 10 am to 3 pm for RN, CNA, and RRT positions, at the below Santa Rosa Hospitals:CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Westover HillsCHRISTUS Santa Rosa Medical CenterCHRISTUS Santa Rosa Alamo HeightsCHRISTUS Santa Rosa San MarcosCHRISTUS Santa Rosa New BraunfelsRN: Registered professional nurse who assesses, implements or delegates, plans, and evaluates total nursing care and functions in accordance with established philosophy, providing and directing patient care for a group of patients. Provides clinical supervision for entry level nurses and assists in their development.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with active RN Texas licensureAll newly licensed RNs with less than 6 months’ experience must participate in the CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Residency Program. An individualized learning plan will be developed through completion of the Performance Gap Analysis and competency completion will be documented through the program’s tracking softwareRegistered Nurse with valid Texas LicenseBLS Certification required; ACLS certification highly desired/recommended. Current specialty certification as requiredMust have working knowledge of the nursing process as well as in depth knowledge of therapeutic, physical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural, and developmental needs for a select category of patientsCNA: Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/licensed Nurse, this position will assist with routine and repetitive patient care activities on a nursing unit. This position also performs specific clerical, organizational and patient-focused activities.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent requiredBilingual (English/Spanish) preferredPatient care experience in an acute care hospital highly preferredCurrent Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is requiredCurrent BLS (American Heart Association) is requiredRRT: Responsible for participating in the selection, orientation and scheduling of the ECMO staff. Responsible for billing and chart reviews and ensures the competencies of the staff in order to perform ECMO safely.Requirements:Graduate of an accredited RN program is required orMust be a graduate of a C.A.A.H.E.P. approved certified respiratory therapy technician programTwo (2) years PICU experience is requiredExperience as a team leader for at least one (1) yearExtensive ECMO experience is requiredLicensed in the State of Texas or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification is required.PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification is required for PICU staffCPR is required
