Automotive Sales Representative – Bilingual in Spanish

This is a Full-time position in Dallas, TX posted December 10, 2021.

Provides outstanding customer service through superior organization, scheduling and motivational techniques. Ensures compliance with established company processes and procedures, completes each job on time without error or omission, and maintains focus on improving customer satisfaction. Is Accountable for supervising and directing the employees of the service staff to cost effectively recondition newly acquired vehicles for subsequent sale. Also responsible for proper management of expense-related issues that will affect the monthly financial statements.

o Coordinates the preparation and transfer of all repos and trades.
o Maintains positive customer relations through developing and monitoring the Service Staffs customer service skills, personal skills and effective resolution of complaints.
o Communicates technical aspects of all repair jobs to customers.
o Personnel management including selection, training, counseling and development of each staff member. Establishes and maintains a positive and comfortable working environment within the Service Department. Conducts performance reviews and salary administration.
o Creates climate of security and integrity to control parts and supply inventory shrinkage. Controls inventory through auditing of paperwork, reconciliation of bills and monitoring receiving and weekly inventory spot-check counts.
o Enforces safety standards and policies to help reduce Worker’s Compensation and Garage Liability claims.
o Maintains facility to management and OSHA standards. This would include building, equipment, parking lot, grounds and any other issue that would not create a safety hazard.
o Participates in any vendor training program and maintain a friendly working relationship with all vendors.
o Keep abreast of the latest technological advances in the automotive repair industry and progress towards ASE certifications.
o Ensures that proper vehicle inspection techniques are being followed with proper company documentation.
o Prepares estimates using proper documentation.
o Assists mechanical employees in performance of their job responsibilities.
o Maintains image of the Service Department and Service Department associates.
o Works with management team to coordinate workflow between the sales and service staff, ensuring proper Service Department personnel coverage.
o Works with management team to ensure budgetary compliance with shop supplies, damages, uniforms, workers compensation, policy, warranty, and payroll expenses.
o Other duties as assigned.
o Overtime may be required.

2+ years lead auto tech or service management, superior interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, clear written and oral communication skills, ability to manage and handle stressful situations, good ability to interact with all levels of management, computer literate.

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees or organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
