What you will Master: As a Business Development Representative, your primary objective is to achieve revenue growth from an esteemed portfolio of clients, while leading the tactical execution of the transportation industry’s most unique and innovative client experience.

You will be responsible for identifying potential new customers, nurturing relationships, and building lasting partnerships.

Some of the specific job duties include, but are not limited to: Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly KPIs & financial objectives Prospect new clients by way of industry referrals, networking, researching, etc.

Understand prospective clients’ unique needs through discovery and software demos Effectively manage a consistent pipeline to ensure leads are converted to landed accounts Collaborate with sales and product team to design and execute a business development strategy that provides continuous, profitable growth Communicate effectively with customers, partner vendors, and team members to ensure problems are proactively identified and appropriate solutions are implemented with urgency Prepare for client business reviews and be able to provide ongoing feedback in support of continuous improvement opportunities and service improvements Act as primary point of contact for any and all matters related to your customer’s needs Work with your team to transition and on-board new customers Run and manage training webinar sessions Work with marketing team to communicate and upsell new product feature roll-outs with existing user base Oversee existing contract renewals/negotiations Work with product team to negotiate and create SOPs for custom development requests Utilize Excel to help manage & maintain customers’ environment Open to some travel for face-to-face visits and conferences What We’re Looking for: Minimum 2 years transportation sales or 3 years of transportation or logistics experience 2-5 years of transportation experience preferred Bachelor’s degree required Team-oriented player with a positive energy Strong ability to persuade, be strategic, motivate, and influence others Persistent and resilient with a tenacious appetite for success Ability to develop strong interpersonal relationships What We Bring to the Table: Database of untapped/unassigned accounts Downtown Chicago location Competitive salary & high commission potential Ability for upward mobility Health, dental, disability, and life insurance PTO & paid holidays 401(k) company match Philanthropy events Casual dress code Corporate workout facility Free food Including breakfasts, free lunch Fridays, snacks, cold brew coffee on tap, and more
