OVERVIEW:
The Inside position at RateGenius converses with prospective customers from all over the United States by phone to assist in refinancing the customer’s auto loan and offering additional beneficial products.

All leads are provided by the Company.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Handles all opportunities in a timely and quality manner Maintains acceptable conversion rates of approval to funding Achieves total number of closed funded deals set forth in the compensation plan Achieves the average revenue per deal set forth in the compensation plan Maintains acceptable turnaround time on all deals from inception to funding Provides excellent customer service to all customers, both internal and external customers Keeps Sales Manager apprised of changes and concerns Keeps Sales Manager apprised of any concerns from customers and ask for assistance when needed Explains features, advantages, and disadvantages of various add-on products such as  Gap, Credit Life, Accident Health and Extended Warranties Maintains knowledge of providers products and competitive product differences Maintains excellent job knowledge of the processes, products, systems, compliance and company information, as well as, continual professional development through personalized training with management, classes, conferences, seminars, workshops, etc SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or a GED 1-2 years’ experience in phone sales preferred Ability to qualify for required state insurance license Strong background in customer service required Results driven and goal oriented Proactive and responsible Self-disciplined to work the hours required to meet and exceed sales goals Dependable and flexible Goal oriented and competitive Ability to read and comprehend simple to complex instructions, ordinances, manuals, correspondence and memos, office communications, policies and procedures  Ability to interact with a professional demeanor with staff, general public, Insurance companies and customers  Must possess excellent planning, problem solving, analytical, organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal communication skills  Must be detail-oriented with respect to documentation and execution NON-PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Change of tasks, performing multiple tasks simultaneously, working with others as part of a team, and irregular schedule/overtime may be required at times.
