Job Requirements:

  • Verify insurance carrier current address
  • Work in the insurance Industry
  • Obtain and confirm insurance pre-authorizations
  • Enter patient insurance information into the patient record and documents insurance coverage of services
  • Maintain insurance verification log of accounts/procedures
  • Maintain insurance product knowledge and selling techniques
  • Calling insurance companies and/or utilize website
  • Reach customers, physicians and insurance carriers
  • Determine status of payment in accordance with department follow-up timeliness
  • Analyzing insurance certificates, endorsements, working directly with vendors and insurance agents to comply with Nucor requirements, and supporting all areas of contract and insurance
  • Perform all facets of insurance verification for new patient
  • Perform all facets of insurance verification for new patients
  • Work with patients to obtain complete and correct insurance information
  • Supporting documentation as necessary and resolve aged insurance balances
  • Verify insurance coverage and coordination of benefits from all sources
  • Pursue new business, including development and follow-up on new contacts and leads
  • Use CRM for lead tracking, client status and follow-up
  • Configure, test and maintain insurance servicing application product feature settings to deliver accurate insurance servicing, high client satisfaction and operational effectiveness
  • Appointing agents, and marketing insurance products primarily throughout Illinois
  • Reconcile balances and payments between insurance companies and clients computer systems
