By living the Reddy Ice Way through operational excellence, growth, and obsession for the customer.The Regional Account Executive drives sales activities and is the front line of contact for Regional customers.

They are responsible for growing, managing, maintaining, and owning customer relationships.

They ensure issues are addressed, needs are met, and clients are satisfied.TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 60%DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop and ensure the execution of regional account strategies and plans to achieve profitable revenue and market share growth aligned with quotas for designated territory.

Responsible for growing new distribution, maintaining base business, pricing implementation, and improving customer profitability for Reddy Ice.

Monitor retailer activity to develop the most cost-effective strategies in order to drive volume and profitability through increased penetration and promotion.Utilize and leverage Ice Genie tools to provide information and feedback in order to establish regional customer performance goals and generate revenue growth results.Conduct regular customer business performance reviews in order to track, monitor and adjust efforts and produce desired outcomes in all key business segments.Oversee, build and maintain customer relationships
– penetrate customer and establish business relationships that enable collaborative business planning initiatives
– penetrate and establish relationships across multiple decision points within customer (Purchasing/Sourcing, Category Management, Supply Chain, Retail Operations and Marketing).

Develop close working relationships with all critical levels at assigned customers through personal sales calls as well as participation in association events and shows.

Understand and work through customer contracts.

Develop strategies that will grow business and ensure renewal of contracts as they come up for renewal.Work collaboratively with RVP’s, Market Managers, NAE’s, Senior Vice President, Commercial, Operations functions and Reddy Ice Senior Management as well as appropriate support resources to deliver on sales quotas and exceed customer expectations.Relay any market or competitive intelligence to Commercial Strategy Team and Operations.Assume other duties and responsibilities required or assigned by management.Adhering to the Code of Business Ethics is essential.

We value honesty and integrity above all else and we expect our employees to be committed to the highest ethical standards.COMPENSATION PLAN:Regional Account Executives receive a competitive base salary, plus bonus incentives tied to meeting or exceeding assigned territory sales quota, pricing objectives and new business objectives.CONTACTS:Internal: COO, CFO, CCO, SVP, Commercial, RVP’s, Market Managers, Plant Managers, Customer Care, Account Managers, Sales Operations, NAE’s and RAE’s.External: Category Manager, Buyer, Purchasing/Sourcing, VP Merchandising, Distribution, Regional or Store Operations.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:No direct supervisory people responsibility.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree preferred.Minimum 5 years Sales and Key Account experience with a strong track record of success, preferably in CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods), or within a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) operationExperience using analytical sales performance metricsExperience in creating sales metrics/KPIs and analytical reporting to drive sales management decisions.Ability to effectively analyze internal and external dataActive listening skillsStrong negotiation skillsExcellent communication and presentations skills with internal and external contactsInnovative, solution-oriented mindsetSelf-motivated and able to work independentlyMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointWORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:At times travel is extremely heavy and could average up to 60% by car and/or air.

A valid driver’s license and acceptable MVR is required.Regional Account Executives use their own vehicles and are reimbursed with a fixed monthly fee for depreciation and auto insurance, and a per-mile variable fee for fuel and maintenance.Home based office, generally sedentary position using computers, calculators, phones, and other office equipment.This position works in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment.
