Fourier?s award-winning einstein?World platform uses hardware and software to empower educators and inspire students by providing an engaging science learning experience unifying inquiry-based experiments, interactive multimedia activities and user-friendly analysis applications on any tablet or computer.
At Fourier Education, we don?t merely want to expose kids to science; we are determined to add the extra spark to the classroom that drives students to become the next brilliant STEM leaders.
We are looking to hire up-and-coming sales superstars to help us bring these great products to K-12 schools across the US. You will have the opportunity to make a huge impact in the NE, SE, NW, or W regions of the US.

What we are looking for in Sales Reps:

  • Ability to Sell!?And everything that goes along with introducing the einstein? Platform; cold calling, live online web demos, email correspondence, closing orders, customizing quotations, building relationships, expanding the network.
  • Sales are typically done with districts and/or schools, but there are other opportunities, as well
  • Orientation to sciences? super helpful if you have taught science in schools and know what a science teacher?s day looks like and are familiar with the ?business? of science education, budget, and curriculum.
  • Great presenter! Dynamic ability to take a product and subject and evangelize it through and through.

As a Sales Rep, a typical day might include the follow:

  • Calling an existing customer to say ?Hello? and follow up on support needed to make a sale or support the customer
  • Responding to and investigating email inquiries in a timely manner while making sure to track and document all opportunities
  • Tradeshow follow-ups, tracking leads, conversions and deciding what action needs to be taken next (web demo or site visit)
  • Practice, Practice, Practice?Perfecting your presentation and pitches
  • Preparing and testing for workshops and training events with teachers
  • Providing support to all inquiries relating to product functionality and implementation to fit the customer?s need
  • Planning for the next tradeshow in your region

Misc items to support activities (non-consumables)

  • Cell Phone Allowance – $90/month

Employee expected to use their own smart phone

  • Employee Health, Dental & Vision Insurance (TBA)
  • Base Salary: $40,000
  • Commission Structure (uncapped)

Up to 50% of quota ? 3%
50% to 100% of quota ? 5%
Over 100% of quota ? 7%
1st year Quota expectation: $500,000
1st year Commission expectation, at plan: $20,000

  • Expense reimbursement
  • Mileage reimbursed at $0.575/mile for 2015
  • Holidays ? Consistent with company US posted holiday schedule
  • Vacation (must be taken during that calendar year)

Years 1 through 3 – 10 days
Years 4 through 9 – 15 days
Over 9 years – 20 days
*January 1st determines the calculation of that year?s vacation status

Salary: $40,000.00 per year
