POSITION SUMMARYThe Insurance Sales Producer will be primarily responsible for prospecting, networking, and producingnew property and casualty business insurance policies and accounts as well as the renewal retention ofexisting accounts.

These duties include but are not limited to:Prospect for business based on your local networks, connections, and communitiesMarketing of insurance risks to companies in accordance with the practices, policies, andprocedures of the companyConduct sales, service, and solicitation of all forms of insurance businessMaximize growth and client retention through superior customer serviceDevelop accounts and cross sell available products and servicesGenerate and pursue new client opportunitiesPresent Brandy Jackson Agency Insurance Group services and solutions at prospect meetingsBring new business prospects to closureRetain clients by maintaining solid business-to-business relationshipsESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide immediate follow up on client referrals.Make prospecting calls to identify business needs and propose company products andservices.Obtain new accounts by actively pursuing prospects and creating interest throughtelephone calls and making personal visits.Stay abreast of trends in the insurance industry and pursue continuing education.Make follow up calls on insureds to insure client satisfaction with insurance program andinsurance needs.Market all lines of insurance and directly impact revenue goals through theacquisition of new business and the retention of renewals.Assist in the analysis of line of business and insurance company production trends andmake recommendations to correct deficiencies.Maintain superior knowledge of market underwriting appetite, line of business trends,insurance company changes, rating technique, and coverage development.Accurately maintain prospects, new, and renewal business in the agency managementsystem and/or CRM database to allow for proper analysis of trends when gaining or losingbusiness; work with executive management to continually analyze and strengthen areas of opportunity.Other duties may be assigned to meet business need.EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONExperience: At least 1 – 2 years of recent property and casualty sales experience or relatedbusiness-to-business sales experienceExperience cold calling and getting first appointmentsDemonstrated success in overall customer serviceExperience with a CRM DatabaseEducation / CertificationBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or Marketing preferredAppropriate insurance agent’s license required or must obtain within 30 days of employmentWillingness to continue education is essentialSKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREDTechnical: Intermediate to advanced-level proficiency with Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word,Outlook, and PowerPoint.Proven track record of success in high activity sales model with clear examples of resultsHigh level of organization abilityEffective, professional verbal and technical written communication skillsMust be an effective networkerAbility to work with internal and external clients at all levelsMust have the desire for success and willingness to learnMust be a good listener and have a strong work ethicMust be confident and be able to work in a fast paced environmentHigh degree of self-discipline and motivationMust have the ability to take on and overcome challengesAbility to follow processes and procedures and help develop new processes and procedures tohelp the company become more efficientSolution driven problem solving skillsMust possess the ability to work independently, applying education and professional experienceto achieve outstanding resultsDemonstrates considerable tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment with ability to build andmaintain effective interpersonal relationshipsA self-starter with an entrepreneurial approach and hands-on experienceBilingual Spanish/English – a plus, but not requiredSALARY AND EMPLOYMENTPay range dependent on skill and contribution levelGenerous commission planStandard 40 hour M-F 8am-5pm or as determined by ManagerJob Type: Full-timeSchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridaySupplemental Pay:Commission payExperience:Sales Experience: 1 year (Required)Insurance sales: 1 year (Preferred)Work Location:One locationWork Remotely:No
