– Nacogdoches, TXPosition TypeFull TimeDescriptionJob Description: Reporting to the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the Delivery Driver position is responsible for surprising each customer with exceptional service and delivering that customer experience to each stop.
Drivers will get the right parts to the right customer at the right time in a safe manner, and will act with integrity, empathy, and trustworthiness every single day.
The Delivery Driver will achieve desired results by executing these core roles.Core Roles:Sales:Has complete understanding of territory and each stopCustomer receives order within the allotted time frameCredits are picked up, issued and returned to customer by the next business daySurprise each customer with exceptional service every dayProfit:Verifies all parts before they leave the storeFollows all cash handling proceduresFollows all invoicing proceduresTransfers are treated with the same urgency as a deliveryFollows company procedures on all bank depositsAccurately completes all paperwork as set out in guidelinesTeam:Recognizes co-workers for doing a great jobMaintains an extremely positive attitude on a daily basisStays within company dress codeFollows company guidelines on attendanceAlways willing to help othersStrives for excellence in everything everydayParticipates in all company and store meetings and functionsSafety:Follows emergency proceduresKeeps store and work area clean and clutter freeUtilizes team lifts on all heavy and bulky itemsUses the three point system when climbing laddersReports to manager any violations of company safety policies or unsafe working habitsFollows company safety guidelines that are laid out in the safety manualCompletes all online Drivers safety trainingDoes not receive call-ins in regards to unsafe drivingCompletes and documents daily and weekly vehicle inspectionsFollows vehicle accident proceduresAccident forms and insurance cards are in every vehicleAdheres to the companys distracted driving policyQualificationsQualifications: Must be 21 years of age or older, must also possess a valid drivers license as well as a clean driving record.
Must be able to drive a standard transmission vehicle.
Must possess excellent customer service skills, and be able to lift over 40lbs routinely.
