Account Operations Manager

About the job

The Account Operations Manager’s (AOM) primary focus is to plan and provide operational oversight of the day-to-day project activities of the Toyota Motor North America account, manage primary client(s), and ensure client satisfaction.

The AOM will have elevated levels of responsibility for both existing business and new business opportunities.

The AOM position will be based in or near Plano, TX, reports to the VP, Client Services, and maintains working relationships with operational leads within the company.

The AOM cultivates and defines client needs and communicates them to internal stakeholders.

For new business, the AOM supports the RFP process (which is led by the VP, Client Services).

For sold business, the AOM assures that deliverables are in line with client needs, and clients see the value and enjoy the working relationship while working with AMCI.

What the job entails for existing initiatives:
Serve as an advocate for the client representing a fair and honest client perspective to all internal stakeholders.

Clarify client expectations and performance measures throughout project development and operation.

Maintain ongoing ROI trackers and activation metrics.

Prepare activation recaps with metrics fully incorporated and key learnings included.

Manage client expectations in line with the Project Team’s recommendations.

Review creative briefs, drafts, deliverables, and project documentation in a timely manner before presentation to client.

Present to client with appropriate team members all Budgets, Statements of Work, Letters of Agreement, invoices and PCNs, and obtain signatures, in support of the VP, Client Services.

Obtain Purchase Orders (POs) from client.

Support and advocate the rest of the Project Team internally and with the client.

What the job entails for new business development/generally:

Develop and build relationships with the client.

Understand client’s business and brands, strategic drivers and goals in order to advise internal teams in the identification of new business opportunities with client, under the guidance of the VP, Client Services.

Participate in the development and implementation of account plans to ensure a disciplined approach to growing business with current clients.

Manage client expectations in line with the Account Team’s recommendations.

Participate in the development of the solution design, including Project Budget, Integrated Timeline and Proposal presentation materials.

Qualified candidates must:
