Channel Marketing Manager – Wholesale

Job Summary

The Channel Marketing Manager is responsible for the complete management of our largest sales channel across multiple facets of the business. The individual will be responsible for driving the marketing, pricing, promotional and programs to drive market share gain/growth with new and existing products within their channel.

Job Duties

  • Develop channel marketing programs for sales growth and revenue enhancement
  • Design and implement pricing strategy
  • Provide proposals, quotations and pricing to partners
  • Ensure the customers are up-to-date with new products and enhancements
  • Performs reviews of competitors
  • Stays current on market trends and industry standards
  • Address sales related issues and conflicts in a timely manner
  • Manages sales contracts and agreements with channel customers
  • Provides product requirements for channel to Product Management for development
  • Work with team in executing marketing plan to support product positioning and branding initiatives
  • Maintain marketing collateral such as whitepapers and case studies
  • Maintain templates for sales proposals, whitepapers and reports
  • Stay current on market trends, industry standards and competitors
  • Inform management on potential competitive threats and propose corrective actions
  • Perform Business reviews and provide improvements
  • Monitor and manage expense within allotted marketing budget
  • Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and retention

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related discipline
  • 4+ years’ experience in Product Marketing, Sales, Trade Marketing and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG/FMG), preferably in the home improvement industry.
  • Practiced strategic thinking and planning capability and experience
  • Superior presentation skills and comfort with a variety of audiences, both internal and customer facing
  • Past experience managing budgets ideally within a channel marketing setting
  • Project Management experience
  • Strong financial acumen including solid P&L experience.
  • Solid MS Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
