Job Description
What We Do: We believe that channel partners have the opportunity play a big role increasing the accessibility of Payscale products in the market.

We understand that valuable partnerships are built through open lines of communication, setting clear and mutually beneficial success metrics, and developing the right tools for partner companies to share the value of the partnership.
What You Do: You collaborate closely with our Partners, Channel Managers, and other cross-functional teams to execute our channel go-to-market strategy.

You will be responsible for understanding the varying stages in the partnership lifecycle and creating programs that help ensure partners hit their success targets.

This perfect fit for this role is a creative problem solver who is great at collaborating both inside and outside the business.
Day-in-the-Life: A typical day may include the following…
Align with channel management on priority partners and go-to-market targets
Set strategy and metrics for the role and execute towards goals
Identify varying partner relationships and establish appropriate tools to support each category of partner
Conduct research with Channel Managers and Partners to better understand areas of opportunity to better enable partners and collaborate on co-marketing opportunities
Collaborate with partners and Payscale Marketing team on co-marketing opportunities and measure success to share with partners
Enable partners with easy-to-use tools and resources that ensure their success, collaborate in creating co-branded marketing materials and serve as point of contact for partners for collateral creation.

Speaking with partners to understand their goals and ensuring we have developed the appropriate tools to help support their goals
Attend and play an active role in cross-functional sessions to understand our business and keep a pulse on product strategy, process updates, and their impacts on our channel partners.

Attend quarterly business reviews with partners for observation and to incorporate feedback
First Year in Role
Within 3 months you will have a clear understanding of Payscale’s business have established cross-functional relationships that help you best understand Payscale’s value proposition and products.

You will have an aligned vision of our Channel go-to-market strategy, developed a partner lifecycle for varying partnership classifications and have established metrics.

Alongside the Channel Manager, you will have established an understanding of partnership categories and have established an understanding of high-priority channel enablement needs as a starting point.

You have started developing a strategy to scale partner enablement as the partner ecosystem grows.
Within 6 months you have a relationship with partners and a clear understanding of the enablement needs of existing channel partners and are well into executing on these needs.

You have a roadmap for the coming year and alignment on priority of work with the Channel Manager.

You are working towards clear metrics and have established relationships directly with our partners.

You have clear tools in place that help you scale your role and work with several partners simultaneously.
Within your first year at Payscale you will have several programs in place to enable varying partner types.

You are measuring the success of your programs and responding to the ongoing needs of the market.

You play a key role in advocating for partners throughout the business and ensure their voice is heard.

You have direct relationships with the partners and work closely with the Channel Manager to maximize areas of opportunity within existing partnerships.

Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
3+ years’ partner marketing, enablement, or product marketing experience
Strong business writing skills, effective storytelling and presentation abilities
Leadership capabilities with cross-functional teams
Excellent time management and project prioritization skills
The ability to be flexible with responsibilities and focus is important in a growing business
Analytical abilities to track performance and measure success
