In addition, the role is responsible for driving KPIs and especially revenue through the product offerings as well as the sales strategy to the entire customer base.nn nn n nn nn MAIN FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES nn nn n nn nn1.

Manages and leads the sales and product management functions by providing both strategic and daily operational guidance that includes training, support and direction for their day-to-day activities, planning and monthly KPI tracking and performance reviews.

Nurtures, develops and established key relationships within APG’s National/Major account base.

Responsible for ensuring teams are meeting monthly KPIs and strategic goals.

Uncovers additional opportunities to expand APG’s business through cross selling multiple product ranges through joint customer visits and field rides across North America, as well as coordinated product training sessions for distributors and end-users.nn nn5.

Provides strategic direction and leadership based on the sales analysis for each sales team (Inside/Out sales)nn nn6.

Provides the proper level of communication to the Commercial Vice President through monthly business reviews, month-end reporting and other ad hoc requests on KPIs and other pending projects.nn nn7.

Understands the strategic initiatives of the broader business enabling recommendations and championing further sales adoption and effectiveness.nn nn8.

Champion communication for your function on key business initiatives and updates.nn nn9.

Supports implementation, maintenance and adoption of a CRM software package for the business.nn nn10.

Responsible for budget and compliance with financial reporting requirements.nn nn n nn nn nn nn Knowledge/Skills/ Abilities nn nn n nn nn1.

Minimum of 5-7 years of B2B sales management experience including with direct reports.nn nn2.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business or related field; or equivalent experience is required.nn nn3.

Must possess a clear business sense and be able to articulate the strategic advantage and vision.nn nn4.

Must be highly self-motivated with a strong drive to lead team and self to exceed KPIs and targets.nn nn5.

Ability to form, develop and expand key business relationships within Commercial team and customer base.nn nn6.

Ability to communicate with internal resources in order to maximize effectiveness.nn nn7.

Demonstrate a strong management presence while juggling multiple teamsnn nn8.

A proven track record of success in exceeding growth in personal and team objectives.nn nn9.

Strong process discipline with a skill to align development objectives in order to grow company revenue.nn nn10.

Ability to accurately produce financial forecasts including sales analysis and product line performance.nn nn11.

A basic understanding of balance sheets is preferred.nn nn12.

Should have working knowledge of MS Office suite software especially Excel.

CRM systems knowledge is preferred.
