Commercial Product Marketing Manager

The Role

Commercial client business is one of the most important directions for AMD’s business growth.

We are developing products that power critical missions and tasks in Enterprise and SMB, and elevate learning experiences in Education segments.

We are seeking a hardworking and skilled Product Marketing Manager to build and tell our “Ryzen for Business” story.
In this role, you will be a Customer Advocate responsible for both inbound and outbound product marketing messaging and plan for the commercial segment.

You will build messaging documents, devise sales support materials for Commercial segment stakeholders and Sales teams, educate and help them deliver the message to customers and industry influencers, and be the evangelist for commercial client products and technologies.

He/She has proven success working in a fast-paced and changing environment and brings analytical and structured thinking, team collaboration, outstanding communications, and results-oriented execution skills to the role.
Key Responsibilities
This critical role is chartered with responsibilities including but not limited to:
Develop comprehensive messaging, positioning, and marketing plan and assets for commercial clients
– including outstanding product messaging and content showing thought leadership, compelling value proposition, and differentiation Command a detailed knowledge of AMD silicon, firmware, BIOS, and system capabilities applicable to commercial clients and portray value to our commercial customers Understand commercial buyer/user personas and develop targeting plans to drive growth Create effective GTM strategy and plan for this segment Develop sales tools and enablers that support buyer and customer journey (e.g.

presentations, training video content, product/solution guides, blogs, media briefings, trainings, etc) Understand competitive environment and position our products to win Work with related cross-functional areas to help generate strong momentum ahead of new product launches Provide product and marketing training to direct and indirect sales teams as needed
– communicate value proposition, driven advantage, and winning approach Represent AMD in industry conferences and thought leadership activities Build and sustain analyst conversations to help differentiate our products Supervise and report to executive leadership and cross-functional partners on marketing plan results and successes
Preferred Experience
3+ years product marketing experience for PC or semiconductor companies Proven history of creating effective messaging, product positioning, marketing programs, and GTM content Ability to evangelize products and communicate key benefits to internal and external partners (including being on-camera for educational videos and press briefings) Seasoned creative writer with expertise developing lean and effective messaging and presentations Impeccable interpersonal skills, and ability to influence the teams and partners Superior ability to establish relationships with peers among engineering, product management, marketing and sales, and other cross-functional groups.

Analytical and rigorous, structured thinking Passion and interest in enterprise HW, SW and new and ground-breaking technologies
Academic Credentials
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, marketing or related field; MBA and/or MS is a plus
