The Creative Group is looking for a Community Manager for a contract to full time opportunity. The role will begin on contract, full 40 hours per week, ranging from 3-6 months before conversion to a full time employee of the company. This role is with a large B2B SaaS company and can be done remotely from anywhere within the United States.

Reporting to the Head of Content Marketing, the Content and Community Marketing Manager will be responsible for growing the client’s social and referral traffic via social media management, content distribution, and community marketing initiatives. This full-time Content and Community Marketing Manager will act as the face and voice of the client’s brand, responsible for both moderating online and offline conversations with current and future customers and proactively engaging with partners, influencers, and thought leaders. The ideal candidate is a customer-centric marketer with exceptional oral and written communication skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

– Manage social media accounts and significantly grow audience across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube

– Develop and execute high-impact social media and community marketing campaigns that align with overall content marketing strategy

– Craft, curate, and publish engaging written, visual, and multimedia content that’s tailored to each channel

– Build relationships with current and future customers, partners, and employees as well as industry thought leaders, influencers, analysts, and reporters

– Actively participate in industry discussions and relevant online communities where target audiences are engaged

– Support current and future customers by responding to their comments and questions in a timely manner

– Create and implement a framework for content distribution that amplifies the reach of content and improves campaign performance

– Help build domain authority and drive referral traffic by executing link building strategies, such as guest posting on partner blogs and industry publications, answering Quora questions, and responding to HARO queries

– Track and report on social engagement, community growth, and social/referral traffic

– Analyze social data to uncover insights, then adjust strategies and tactics to achieve optimal performance

– Closely follow changes to social media platform rules and algorithms

Job Requirements:

– 3-5 years of marketing experience at a B2B software company, preferably with a focus on organic acquisition 

– Proven track record of driving organic traffic, ranking at the top of SERPs, and winning featured snippets

– Ability to write and edit clear and compelling copy under tight deadlines

– Solid portfolio with long-form, search-optimized content samples

– Deep understanding of content strategy and search engine optimization, including knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms

– Experience with historical optimization and backlink projects preferred

– An analytical mindset, process orientation, and passion for experimentation

– Experience using common industry tools, such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, KWFinder, Clearscope, Google Analytics, and WordPress Degree in marketing, business, or related field
