– San Antonio, TXDescriptionThe Credit Analyst Manager (SA) manages the Credit Analysts (SA) and provides support to the lending function of the Bank.ESSENTIAL DUTIESThe duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform.

Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.Manages the Credit Analyst department and provides support to the lending function of the BankAssists, coaches, and trains credit analysts and/or loan officers in evaluating the financial history and financial statements of credit applicants with a focus toward assessing creditworthinessAnalyzes financial strength and adequacy of cash flow and calculates all related ratios in order to identify the probability of full repayment and whether collateral or a guarantor is needed to adequately secure the loanFacilitates or assists in the preparation of loan requests by completing credit analysis and credit memorandums of all larger or more complex loan requests for presentation to loan officers or committeesCompletes related special projects as neededProvides assistance to lenders with policy and loan questions or concernsManages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating and disciplining of reporting staff Complies with all federal and state laws and regulations, and all established bank policies and proceduresMaintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AMLQualificationsThese specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position.

Individual abilities may result in some deviation from these guidelines.BBA in Accounting, Finance or related fieldEight years of working experience as a Credit Analyst / Credit Risk Analyst or Loan Officer in a financial institutionFour years of prior management experienceKnowledge of commercial, trade-finance, asset-based lending, loan documentation, financial statements and cash flowComputer literacy in Windows, Microsoft Excel and WordGood organizational, interpersonal and communication skillsAttention to detail and acute mental concentration for accurately performing tasks with frequent interruptionsBilingual in English and Spanish is desiredORGANIZATIONThis position reports to the Regional Credit Officer (SA)This position oversees the Credit Analysts (SA)TRAINING REQUIREMENTSAll employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function.

In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures.
