Areas of responsibility:
· Custom Approved Storeroom (CASR)
· Receiving of all goods (dry, fresh, frozen)
· Manage all Courier deliveries
· Manage the return process
· Storage of all goods (dry, fresh, frozen)
· Decanting and sanitizing of all produce, fruits etc.
· Thawing of all frozen goods (to specific requirements and processes)
· Distribution of all goods within the facility
Reports to: Operations Manager
Essential functions:
· Management, Leadership, Accountability
· Compliance with all Food Safety and Quality rules and regulations
· Compliance with all Custom and Border Protection rules and regulations for CASR operation
· Manage the complete decanting process.
· Management of the warehouse and storage areas
· Work closely with all kitchens and the Purchasing Department
· Ensure proper product rotation and expiration date control, FIFO.
· Ensure the replenishment process for disposables, packaging, beverages, and PC items.
· Take inventories, keep par levels.
· Correct par levels as needed to adjust to the exact amount per item.
· Alert overstock and shortages to the Warehouse Manager
· Making sure no shortages occur within the designated storage areas of the main building.
· Provide any ad hoc requisition for missing items.
· Control the material flow from the warehouse to the main building and restrict access to the warehouse for staff that is not allowed to enter the warehouse.
· Ensure that the available office machines, other tools, transportation carts and other hardware are well maintained and will last long
· Alert the Warehouse Manager when repairs, replacements or new EQ is needed

Requirements, but not limited to: This position requires flexible work schedules within a 24/7 work environment. The airline catering industry is a seasonal business and certain peak times of the year are black out periods for PTO (paid time off), e.g. year end, summer. This position requires experience in Leadership, Management, demanding Accountability and a high degree of Training and Teaching abilities, to lead the entire team to success ( highest product quality, highest productivity output, complying with all food safety rules and regulations).
Qualifications:
· Bilingual Eng./Span. is a big plus.
· Valid and locally recognized food safety handler certification
· Strong knowledge of Food Safety regulations
· Eligibility for an IAH Airport ID (pass 10 years federal background check)
· Forklift certification (hand operated / stand in / sit down)
· Computer savvy: proficient user of MS Office applications
· Entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven, goal getter
· Understanding of ownership of the assigned areas
· Attend flexible work schedule and adapt to changes easily.
· Team oriented with the ability to work independently.
· Must possess strong organizational skills and systematic work practices.
· The passion for perfect order, cleanliness and attention to detail is a must.
· Sense of urgency and the ability to co-ordinate quick solutions to ensure supply chain.
· Strong sense of workplace safety, OSHA knowledge or certification is a plus.
· Hands on mentality is a prerequisite.
· 3+ years of supervisory role in warehousing / receiving / airline catering / supply chain management required.
· Required to work daily in cold storage, including freezers.
· Heavy lifting and bending, moving boxes and merchandise daily is required for this job.
