Overview:(br((br(Lantower Residential is growing and seeking a Design Manager to join the Development team in Dallas, TX.

As a member of the Design Committee, the Design Manager will coordinate the design process and work alongside the Project Managers through the lifecycle of various ground-up developments and large-scale renovations of existing assets.

The ideal candidate is a design professional with experience in multifamily ground-up projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to directly impact Lantower’s new developments as an integral member of the team.(br((br(Responsibilities:(br(Manage the design, documentation, and installation phases alongside the Project Managers of new multifamily development projects and extensive renovations of existing properties.(br(Collaborate with consultants to assist in creating project deliverables for exterior, interior and landscape designs.(br(Coordinate with internal departments and consultants to ensure the design and operational requirements are met.(br(Maintain and continuously update the Design Standards Manual outlining Lantower’s design expectations and standards.(br(Perform market research and provide analysis of interiors, materials and amenities of similar product types.(br(Research various design elements (including vendors, fixtures, finishes, materials, etc.) for mood boards and concept designs.(br(Prepare and present design concepts and materials to the Design Committee.(br(Participate in construction administration, attend meetings, site visits and review submittals to ensure design compliance.(br(Collaborate with the entire Development Team for all design-related responsibilities.(br(Qualifications:(br(May require up to 30% travel to markets, including but not limited to Miami, New York, Tampa and Orlando.(br(Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, Business or a related field is required.(br(2-5 years of design/construction experience; multifamily design/construction experience is strongly preferred.(br(Ability to analyze and interpret construction documents, including but not limited to Architectural, Interiors, Landscape, Electrical and Mechanical.(br(Proficiency in Microsoft Office required; proficiency in Bluebeam strongly preferred.(br(Strong project management skills, results-driven, able to manage several different deadlines across multiple projects.(br(Ability to be a self-starter, work effectively in a small team and contribute to areas beyond the direct scope of responsibility.(br(Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal teams, consultants, contractors and stakeholders.(br(Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.(br((br(About Our Company(br((br(At Lantower Residential we are driven by collaboration, passion and perspective.
