Director Content Marketing


This is a Full-time position in Austin, TX posted March 26, 2021.

nnWe ‘re looking for a Content Marketing Director to lead the development and execution of a content marketing strategy that drives demand and engagement with prospects and customers.

The successful candidate will build content plans that support demand initiatives, create and manage content (editorial) calendars, perform keyword research, and create and manage the creation and optimize the distribution and consumption of B2B marketing content.

The ideal candidate has a passion for marketing strategy and the ability to execute as an individual contributor as well as a consummate team player.

Of critical importance is the ability to plan, orchestrate, write and deliver sophisticated, high-quality content that shapes the views of our prospective buyers and customers.

What you’ll do: nn Managing B2B content strategy across a wide range of audiences and initiatives, with an emphasis on engagement acquisition, retention, and upsell across Company ‘s product and service offerings Conduct topic research and write and work with vendors on original content that aligns with our unique voice and style; including, long
– and short-form blog posts, eBooks, white-papers, press releases, case studies, infographics, presentations, sales collateral, to be distributed across multiple marketing channels Conduct in-depth content strategy, including buyer persona research and creation, SEO and keyword research, market research, marketing automation metrics, and strategic brainstorming with sales and demand team Work with the Director of Web to drive content for web projects, including strategic foundation, personal messaging, web copy creation, and SEO implementation Analyze and report on content placement, sharing, engagement and impact on the entire buyers journey Build content that supports ABM and strategic account programs nn What we’re looking for: nn 10+ years experience in a content marketing and/or demand generation role in B2B/SaaS Exceptional business writing skills and a strong grasp of grammar and style; can visualize as well as convey a message into relevant and interesting content Creative writing skills desired Experience writing for a senior executive audience Proven track record of creating and driving a cohesive content marketing strategy in a complex B2B environment with a strong ability to analyze data and synthesize and take action from data Outstanding interpersonal skills and proven track record of working cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and managing programs within a global team environment Experience launching and managing cross-regional programs, cross-segment programs, with a strong ability to align persona messaging strategy Ability to establish positive relationships with partners and internal stakeholders; energetic, personable, and friendly communication style is required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficient in email automation tools (Marketo) nn nn
