Director, Engineering (Growth)

Director of Engineering, Growth THE OPPORTUNITY: We are looking for a Director of Engineering to lead our newly-formed Growth team.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining and executing the technical strategy, in close partnership with your Product and cross-functional peers, for identifying opportunities for customer growth across all of Freedom’s products.

This ideal candidate will be a people-first leader who is highly collaborative and has strong consumer product development experience.

THE ROLE: * Leading, mentoring, and coaching the engineering team as they execute on growth experiments across Freedom’s suite of products* Working closely with Product Management and other cross-functional partners to identify opportunities for customer growth* Building and executing on a dynamic roadmaps of hypotheses from rapid prototypes to growth hacks* Foster an environment of continuous innovation and inclusion within and across the organization* Drive research and development of new growth opportunities and accelerate Freedom’s experimentation engine and capabilities REQUIREMENTS/CHARACTERISTICS: * Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related engineering field.* Proficient in building full-stack applications on node.js, React, AWS/Google Cloud* Possesses knowledge of various experimentation methodologies and deep analytical skills* Proven track record of leading high-performance engineering teams at different stages* Experience with unique aspects of growth engineering with an eye towards long-term product and technical strategy WHO WE ARE: Voted one of the Top 100 Fastest-Growing Companies in the Bay Area for 2020, Freedom Financial Network is a family of companies that takes a people-first approach to financial services, using technology to empower consumers to overcome debt and create a brighter financial future.
