Director, Marketing Analytics & Operations

Experian Partner Solutions is seeking a Director, Marketing Analytics and Operations to be responsible for driving marketing efficiency and organizational operational excellence through management and governance of organization processes, data analytics, technology and people.

In this position, you will be focused on performance measurement, technology integrations and optimization, driving process and operational efficiencies.

You will also drive market intelligence, data and analytics strategy and implementation/communication of this critical information.

The role is both strategic and tactical, which requires an individual who can strategize at a high level as well as get into the weeds in the day-to-day work supporting our marketing, business and sales teams.

This includes planning, analysis and ongoing refinement of marketing strategies, program implementation, and performance measurement.

What you’ll be doing

This leader will play a vital role in supporting the Vice President of Marketing in operational execution, communication and strategic decision making.

This leader will support organizational strategy and planning for the Vice President, in addition to running a team.

This critical role has a broad scope requires strong skills in operational efficiency, business and customer analytics and marketing execution.

The candidate will have expertise in managing and optimizing various marketing platforms, developing effective workflows, and good understanding of the marketing technologies and platforms to drive marketing campaign and program success.

This leader must be resourceful and strong at operational execution, data analytics and problem solving, and must be self-motivated and have high emotional intelligence and integrity.

Marketing intelligence and data analytics –
Research, analyze and report on market intelligence and key trends in the financial services industry and familiar with working with research firms Provide insights and recommendations based on research, market data and trends, internal data Analyze customer behavior data and define services revenue opportunities with process for measuring analytics accuracy and success.

Develop process and cadence for the most efficient way to identify opportunities based on customer behavior analytics.

Collaborate across teams to gather sources or data and develop process to obtain data in an automated, timely and efficient process.

Measure and track success of program.

Define milestones, deadlines, and templates with pace and level of detail required to normalize our customer and data requirements needed to drive process and revenue across various projects, functions in the marketing organization.


Customer behavior, personas, needs, campaigns, customer segments, accounts, online, etc.).

Partner with the Project Management team to manage global intake, prioritization, requirements gathering, and execution of key projects.

Overall analytics and reporting of marketing program metrics and success across the marketing organization.

Drive the strong marketing programs through marketing automation, messaging and online and offline activities to provide strong leads to sales for warranty and renewals.

Marketing Operations –
Lead, manage and develop the Marketing Operations team including marketing planning operations and digital marketing operations Strong knowledge of marketing technology and platforms Support team in building the marketing technology and platform to develop a world class, metric driven marketing programs Manage day to day operations such as business reviews, staff calls, organization meetings, quarterly meetings and planning meetings – set the cadence and agenda including executive reporting on marketing’s impact to the business.

Help prioritize schedule and calendar Facilitate the process for setting global goals, targets, measures, and dashboard priorities across the marketing organization.

Assist with preparation for key meetings and reviews with executive leadership Budget management, forecasting, reconciliation and reporting for the organization.

Ensure marketing activities and spend map to organizational strategy through annual planning, prioritization, reporting, and business reviews.

Program manage the complexity and volume of portfolio and offer launches and ensure a successful launch that is on time and achieves the KPIs for the business and launch requirements.

Identify and govern the definition, measurement, and monitoring of Marketing KPIs across regions, products, campaigns, and program initiatives.

Including identifying risks and providing corrective action recommendations to key stakeholders.

What your background looks like
15+ years or related experience, preferably in the areas of executive staff management (chief of staff role), business development, or corporate investments.

Significant experience in analysis, project management and presenting to executive management Good working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and CRM tools such as, Salesforce, Eloqua, Hubspot, Pardot, Google analytics, Tableau, HTML, etc.

Deep understanding of marketing functions across various marketing disciplines Strong data analytics skills and business acumen Ability to lead cross-functional virtual teams and drive key business development initiatives from creation to implementation in a collaborative manner Highly-developed communications skills (written/verbal), presentation and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to influence executive leadership on complex topics Organizational agility and developed negotiation skills Unquestionable personal code of ethics, integrity, diversity and trust Able to successfully navigate within varying degrees of ambiguity in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work hard and take direction—but also creatively solve problems for which the answers aren’t always obvious A Bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree, such as an MBA.

During this pandemic, all Experian employees are working remotely.

Once it’s safe to do so, we’ll slowly return to our offices however we are in no rush to do this.
