It’s our mission to continue adding value to our products and improving the lives of our customers.THE ROLE:We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Business Applications & Technology to oversee our IT and systems architecture, security and systems compliance globally. This role ensures we have the right applications, architecture, governance, processes and people to scale our business and meet the strictest of auditing standards. This individual will have a significant impact on how efficiently our business operates and is incredibly cross-functional, supporting all areas of our business including: Operations, Finance, Legal, Marketing, Partnerships and International.WHAT YOU’LL DO: Own all company operational systems, including Netsuite ERP management (finance, accounting, order management, inventory and fulfillment, etc.) and maintenance. Lead all Netsuite ERP training aspects, in order to properly launch and on-board all employees. Partner with Executive Leadership to guide business decisions on global scalable system architecture. Own AG’s IT & Business Application roadmap and prioritization. Manage a team responsible for systems implementation, integration and management as well as general IT and systems administration. Function as the lead hiring manager for all internal IT hiring. Implement and oversee System/IT controls and governance that support external regulations. Oversee outsourced agencies that assist in NetSuite development and integration support. Design and implement the right iPAAS architecture with Dell Boomi between our systems and NetSuite. Partner with Executives across the organization to understand their needs; work to solve them through efficient use of technology. Ensure we have scalable integrations between our global e-commerce systems and NetSuite. Implement strict access and audit structure so the right people have the right access to information. Work with Executive Management to prioritize and plan system implementations or enhancements, ensuring that the right work is being completed, at the right time, and that all is aligned with the needs of the business. Manage all information systems policies and documentation including backup strategies, user training documents, network architecture maps and security policies. Ownership of the IT & Systems budget. Establish process for tracking IT & technical assets across the business. Create and implement data security and retention policies. Responsible for ensuring that we are compliant globally with all standards around security and data, for example: GDPR, CCPA, PCI-DSS, FISMA as well as having CIS Controls in place. Develop training programs needed across all acumens. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? A minimum of 10 years of experience within Business Applications management. At least four years of professional experience at the Director level or above. Minimum of five years of direct experience with Netsuite as a full ERP system – this is required, Experience in a highly controlled environment: public company experience preferred. Previous experience managing external consultants and development agencies. Experience in a high growth, international environment. Tertiary education in an IT or data security related field. Previous experience with controlled, global e-commerce systems architecture – this is required. Experience overseeing systems security and compliance. Previous direct experience leading business applications and systems governance. A curious and humble learner willing to push, test, fail, learn, and share. A strong professional communicator with significant interpersonal skills and the ability to manage productive and trusting relationships with all partners. Somebody who is detail-oriented, with a deep understanding of the fact that the little things add up. Attention to detail is in your nature; you have an appreciation for precision and accuracy while still working quickly and independently. A flexible mindset and comfort with the ambiguity that comes with working in a high-growth environment. Able to maneuver to provide support whatever the situation. A problem solver mentality, with the maturity and calm demeanor to operate and make decisions under pressure and within tight timelines. You get who we are and understand our mission. You have met with all of the executive team, all of your direct reports and multiple other key stakeholders in the business. You have met with our external consultants and development agencies and know who to go to for what. 60 Days: You have a thorough understanding of our complete business systems architecture. You have taken on the key sponsor and project director role for our re-platforming of NetSuite. You have reviewed our Boomi architecture and advised on any changes required in order to scale. You have prioritized the ERP systems roadmap for external integrations between our global 3PLs. 90 Days: You have built a resource plan that meets our development needs for the next 12 months. You have a plan to ensure data, privacy and security protocols are in place globally. You have reviewed the Systems teams roles and responsibilities and made recommendations on any changes if required. You have built a systems permissions structure to ensure governance of access.
