Role Description

The Business Development Director (Hunting role) is accountable for net new sales in the Life Sciences Industry vertical.

They come with strong relationships with the prospects (C
– level relationships) and open doors in the marketplace.

The ideal candidate will direct the business development activities of the organization and drive net new sales (new logos).

They will also be responsible for managing marketing and customer service activities.

Location: Mid-West, East Coast, West Coast

Responsibilities:
Identify prospects & create the go-to-market plan for the identified territory & industry vertical.

Generate business from new accounts and have the capability to drive and lead customer relationships into multimillion dollar engagements.

Build credibility and gain market share in the territory, manage objection and make their way into new areas Understand technology and vertical platforms in order to strategize & craft solutions (along with pre-sales teams) to match customer needs.

Perform in-depth client and industry research to create compelling business cases and lead RFP responses.

Qualifications
8+ years of relevant business development experience selling IT services to Fortune 500 companies.

Proven record in directly winning new business (large deals) and sustaining high-impact client relationships yielding a meaningful level of revenue/margin contribution.

Ability and maturity to sell to and build relationships with C-Level executives.

Ability to build and expand on new relationships.

Working knowledge of the Global Delivery Model.

Must have experience in the Life Sciences industry.
