The Memory Care Director works closely with the Memory Care team to ensure the proper programming for our Memory Care Residents. You will be responsible for the overall management of the department and the day-to-day programming. You will have the ultimate responsibility to observe our Resident’s health status and take actions to address concerns within scope of practice as well as providing Memory Care support, guidance, and training within our Community. You will be responsible for evaluating systems as well as implementing all Volante Senior Living standards, policy, and procedures.

You will also be interacting with Residents, families, fellow associates, physicians, pharmacies and other visitors on a daily basis, so we expect you to be professional and caring. We’ll expect you to contribute to the team effort by being flexible in work assignments, taking the initiative to furnish support in all situations, meet our attendance expectations and maintain an appropriate work pace to meet established schedules. At times you’ll be providing assistance or reminders with activities of daily living for our Residents, including grooming, oral hygiene, bath/shower, and transferring as needed. We may also ask you to assist with Resident’s personal environments, activities, meal preparation/presentation and other tasks to ensure the Resident’s comfort and contentment.
