We are seeking a Director of Product Management to join our growing team.

This position works closely with the Vice President of Product to oversee successful development and execution of product initiatives for all K-12 solutions.

This role will be key to building internal awareness and excitement about product strategies while consistently delivering business value across the Education and Nonprofit division.

A Day in the Life:

  • Manages the K-12 product managers and product owners, providing hands-on guidance and coaching on best practices as needed
  • Collaborates with R&D to ensure timely delivery of new products and completion of key projects
  • Proactively monitors initiatives across the division, with ongoing status updates to ensure awareness and alignment with leadership and other stakeholders
  • Maintains tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) by product line
  • Supervises customer feedback programs, to ensure strong feedback loops and alignment of roadmap development to school challenges
  • Helps monitor product costs, ROI, and status of product business cases
  • Partners with product leadership to ensure roadmaps are consistently aligned to strategic goals and delivering business value
  • Maintains strong knowledge of market trends, competitor trends, and school technology needs
  • Surfaces new opportunities as they arise, through business cases and ROI analyses

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has deep knowledge of product management best practices in an Agile environment
  • Is familiar with Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies, including program increment planning
  • Has experience managing multiple product lines, and understands product lifecycle management
  • Has a proven track record of building successful relationships and partnerships with stakeholders, including R&D, DevOps, Support, Services, Sales, Marketing, among others
  • Has strong people management skills, with 2-3 years of experience directly managing product managers and product owners
  • Has strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics effectively with peer stakeholders, customers, and executive leadership alike
  • Has a passion for solving customer challenges
  • Has strong project management skills and the ability to track multiple tasks from inception to completion
  • Is comfortable presenting internally, to customers, and at industry events as needed
  • Has the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Has product management experience in K-12 technology (optional)
