Director of Product Marketing (Austin or Santa Barbara)

Flueid is an independent technology company on a mission to make real estate transactions simpler for everyone.

Since the early 2000s, our team has been responsible for championing nearly all of the legacy title decision engines on the market.

Building from this track record, we established Flueid as an independent technology company in 2017 so our patented SaaS platform, Flueid Decision, could be embedded across the real estate transaction life cycle and create the most streamlined experience possible.

In 2021, we announced a number of key commercialization milestones for Flueid Decision as well as an acquisition designed to enhance our Flueid Pro solution.

We have a clear roadmap forward with many additional milestones pipelined for the months ahead and are seeking an experienced Director of Product Marketing to build and lead our product marketing department and our GTM strategy.

This is a highly visible role and will partner closely with our c-suite executives to help tell our product story.

The Director of Product Marketing will report directly to the President with a dotted line to the Vice President of Product Strategy and work closely the entire Marcom team to build Flueid’s product presence in the market.

You don’t need to be a real estate expert to apply for this position; we are focused on your demonstrated ability to produce results and be a fantastic storyteller and culture builder. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee market research and analysis to develop a deep understanding of our target audiences and competitors/competitor solutions
  • Define the go-to-market approach and establish best practices for product or feature launches in collaboration with key functional leads in sales, product, marketing, communications and client success/management
  • Drive the execution of product launches and partnerships, including pricing, packaging, positioning, etc., to ensure an integrated and thoughtful rollout
  • Craft product positioning and messaging to clearly distinguish Flueid’s value points and unique product approach against new and legacy industry competitors
  • Partner with the Director of Marketing to lead/influence/plan for integrated and full funnel marketing programs to drive awareness and adoption of our products within market
  • Collaborate with PR, social, and sales/business development to ensure messaging is consistent and on-brand across all outlets as well as all audience segments
  • Support customer-facing teams by producing toolkits of product materials to accelerate sales/adoption (product overviews, demos, data sheets, case studies, demo videos, and white papers and competitor analysis)
  • Oversee technical workflows and other product integration materials, such as release notes, to ensure consistency and accuracy with the product and messaging teams
  • High degree of professionalism with experience building trust and counseling senior executives 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 7-10 years of B2B product marketing experience, with 3-4 years working with a SaaS client (agency experience) or at a SaaS organization (in-house)
  • Track record of success implementing processes, managing cross-functional teams and driving content development in a fast-paced B2B tech environment
  • Ability to quickly understand complex issues and clearly communicate them to a variety of audiences in both business and technical orientations
  • Willingness to operate at both highly strategic levels
    – to define customer problems, marketing, positioning of our products
    – and also at very tactical levels, such as launching products and features to our internal teams or to customers in close collaboration with multiple cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize projects effectively, juggling multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Strong writing credentials to simply and clearly craft messaging from scratch
  • Self-starter who is motivated by a fast-paced environment and has experience adapting to a high degree of change
  • Can operate autonomously, nimbly solving problems and actioning initiatives with little direction
  • Attention to detail is a must
  • Has grown and mentored a team
  • Curious and fearless in asking all the questions to understand the “why”
