Director of Sales


This is a Full-time position in Austin, TX posted May 31, 2021.

Our Sales team is looking for a high-performing, data-driven Director of Sales who will assist the VP of Sales in overseeing the organizations sales objectives and initiatives.

Set short and long-term sales strategies and evaluate effectiveness of customer acquisition and revenue growth targets.

Recommends product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.

As a hands-on leader, you will be responsible for managing and organizing the day-to-day of our sales team to achieve sales targets and monthly quotas, provide guidance, training and mentorship, set sales quotas and goals, create sales plans, stay on top of emerging trends, and analyze data metrics.
.Requirements: Build and lead a high performing sales team to hit ambitious ever-growing targets.

Oversee Salesforce, monitoring core metrics, KPIs, and trends and continuously identify areas of strength and areas for improvement.

Drive sales growth in a dynamic environment.

Must be an innovative change artist in addition to adaptability to change requirements.

Develop and implement budget-friendly programs for continued development and motivation of sales talent.

Build and drive the outbound sales strategy, oversee the creation of the pipeline, identify verticals for growth and networking.

Collaborate with Marketing to craft messaging, presentations and proposals.

Assist the management team with analytics and decision-making.

Create a culture of continuous improvement through regular analysis of the team’s performance
– reacting and inspiring change.

Bring solutions for integration of support and sales that will further drive customer satisfaction.

Other tasks, duties or special projects as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Assist in Recruiting, Selecting, and Orienting of the sales team.

Assist in managing schedules, and bi-weekly time & attendance in a multi-state environment.

Assist Director of Learning & Development in new hire onboarding and ramp time of Account Executives Set individual sales targets and quotas with the sales team.

Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.

Ongoing coaching, learning & development of your sales team through motivation, counseling, feedback, and product knowledge education.

Assess effectiveness of current team processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement them.

Assess individual performance through observation and measurement, and suggest correction actions as needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities that demonstrate professionalism, and passion:
3+ years of Sales Management experience managing teams selling SaaS Highly successful and experienced in B2C and B2B sales practices Direct SaaS sales experience in a high velocity, high volume, sales model Experience of leading, coaching, and developing sales teams Successful track record in a high-volume transactional sales environment Tech-savvy, with a real passion for Technology Skilled at identifying business opportunities with an awareness of financial factors Highly collaborative, with the ability to work cross-functionally and provide insight to various internal stakeholders across the business Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and communications skills.

Strong analytical skills to identify trends and sales patterns Planning, organization and problem-solving skills Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy Ability to guide and mentor Account Executives Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM from a leader’s perspective to manage the sales process, reports, lead views and forecast sales.

Experience with Google Workspace, ScheduleOnce, Recurly, & Unbounce preferred.
