e-Commerce Marketplace Manager

Job Summary

The E-Commerce Marketplace Manager will leverage exceptional judgment in an effort to manage relationships, listings and grow sales on Amazon and other 3 rd party online marketplaces.

This position will be responsible for managing listings,optimizing product visibility, developing new marketplaces and e-retailer relationships, researching new opportunities, analyzing data and growing revenue through each marketplace.

This role will impact the company’s growth strategy on all marketplaces, working at both the strategic level (new marketplace development; generating bold and innovative ideas for growth) and at the tactical level (managing campaigns with site merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data, and solving problems).

Job Responsibilities
Manage Listings and optimize product visibility.

Research new opportunities, analyze data and grow revenue through each marketplace.

Generate bold and innovative ideas for growth.

Manage campaigns with site merchandising tools and analyze traffic data.

Sales-Develop relationships with new marketplaces and e-retailers to expand 3 rd party e-commerce revenue.

Manage overallstrategy, sales, forecasts and results.

These include short
– and long-term objectives, customer metrics and overall performance.

Develop reports and reporting formats.

Monthly Sales reporting and analysis Collaborate closely with Merchants, Marketing, Operations, Sales and other areas of the company to execute existing and develop new Marketplace initiatives and opportunities designed to meet and exceed the needs of the customer and theMarketplace E-Commerce revenue goals.

Act as a liaison with internal parties and vendors to educate and collaborate on category/product launches, updates, and organization-wide initiatives.

Oversee the day-to-day marketplace E-commerce operations, sales, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance and performance.

Ensure that daily site maintenance is conducted; correcting product descriptions, product placement, new item posting, out of stock item removal and functionality meets and exceeds company expectations.

This is a tactical job of maintenance of the site through Amazon and all other marketplaces Develop time and action calendars with processes and procedures to ensure actions are successfully completed.

Develop cost center budgets for all phrases of marketplace E-commerce.

Manage relationships with external third parties in the marketplace world Develop the merchandising strategy and deck to ensure the site is well merchandised according to company directives and standards and merchandising is updated based upon the needs of the business for product to look fresh, new and pushquarterly agenda’s.

Plan out and execute marketplace promotions to maximize growth.

Compare past and current sales trends to assist in determine future inventory demand.

Develop and implement the assortment and inventory plan to match the sales plan.

Work with other divisions to maximize inventory.

Lead SEO strategies and initiatives by account ensuring sites are properly optimized for search engine success Promotions tracking and coordination; report as necessary account specific promotional plans in a timely and effective manner Pull and scrub reports from marketplaces, translate findings into insights and actionable growth tactics Working directly with the internal e-commerce team and retail partners ensuring our customer facing content is best in class.

Proactively research online marketplace to ensure accuracy and delivery of our content, while continuously looking at ways to improve brand position
Job Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Marketing and/or other related degree 3-5+ years of E-commerce experience Experience in E-commerce Amazon and Channel Advisor platform administrative tools (Othermarketplaces are a Plus) Experience with E-commerce marketing and digital sales drivers with marketplace and channeladvisors Demonstrated understanding of web technologies, browsers, analytics, reporting and contentmanagement systems and processes Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-pacedenvironment with changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurialinitiative Strong project management skills Strong analytical skills to guide business strategy decision
