Insurance Agency Executive Director

This is a Contract position in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX posted December 14, 2021.

Join the Gondola Life team as our Insurance Agency Executive Director and have the unique and distinct opportunity to help build a new Life Insurance Agency from the ground up. Help choose and groom our agents, receive the best training and support available from industry insiders and help us grow from a handful of 15-20 agents to many times this number over a few year’s period. As the agency grows so too will the rewards for this critical roll at Gondola Life. Unlike working for a traditional carrier or IMO, Gondola’s rapidly growing online marketing and distribution system will offer our Agency Executive many opportunities not otherwise available in the industry, including generous bonuses, employee stock options, and promotion to Officer level position. Your experience should include the following:

  • 15 or more years in the life insurance retail distribution business
  • Licensing: life, accident & health, Series 6 or 7, 63 or 65 and possibly 24
  • Experience running an agency of 25+ agents
  • Ability to recruit, train, motivate and retain successful agents
  • Demonstrate wide industry, carrier and product knowledge
  • Have a proven sales track record
  • Motivated by the rewards of working in both the life insurance and technology sectors in a ground-breaking new company
  • Deep understanding of the importance of the life insurance and how to convey this to the agency and consumers

Gondola Life is expected to create the first ever virtual US consumer marketplace for retail life insurance. Consumers have never had the opportunity to simply shop, learn and apply for life insurance from within a single, simple, powerful platform, offering them all quotes in one place. Once consumers are aware how easy, unbiased, complete and client-centric the Gondola Life approach is, we believe it will become the number one trusted source for personal and business life insurance.

While the insurance industry has never provided what we will provide, we will do so by bringing together existing proven techniques and tools. Using funnel marketing via social media, meta-search technologies to aggregate quotes from all available carriers and third party sites, a proven life insurance sales system called Circle of Wealth, an agency to support the initial sales process and all repeat and conversion sales, and partner carriers, general agencies and agents, Gondola Life expects to quickly begin to dominate the search space for the 179,000,000 US consumer marketplace, especially among Millennials and Generation X, the most online savvy shoppers who want life insurance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $166,000.00 – $307,000.00 per year
